Registration

• Student Registration: A student claiming a student registration must submit: a scanned copy of the student’s ID card or a verification letter of the student’s full-time status from the department head of the student’s current institution or the student’s supervisor. Current school year has to be included and clearly stated in the document. Student registrations are not applicable to postdoctoral fellows.
• IEEE Member Registration: IEEE Members (including professional members and student members) and IEEE Computer Society Members (including professional members and student members) must provide their Membership Number for verification.
• Author Registration: All authors must follow the author registration policies (see bellow).
• Visa Support Letters: IEEE is able to provide visa support letters to attendees and authors after the registrations are confirmed. You can request it through the on-line registration system.
• All registrations include: admission to all four days of technical programs (invited talks, tutorials, workshops, parallel sessions for paper presentations, industry sessions, etc.), morning and afternoon coffee breaks daily, and lunches for the three conference days December 13-15, 2016.
• All non-student registrations include the admissions to the banquet and the excursion.
• Students have 2 options for registration fees, banquet included or not included.
• Each registration (including student registration) can select one proceedings, either
  • The ICDM 2016 conference proceedings, or
  • The ICDM 2016 workshop proceedings.

• Registrants can choose to purchase extra banquet tickets or extra copies of proceedings. Workshop authors can choose to pay for extra paper pages with a maximum of 2 pages. The prices are listed in the Extra Charges Table (see above).

• Every accepted paper, including conference, workshop papers, and demo papers, must have at least one author to register. If you authored more than one accepted paper, you (or at least one of the authors) should register for each additional paper (both conference and workshop papers). In other words, each accepted paper requires a separate registration. If one author registers more than one paper, the additional papers can be registered using the “extra paper registration rate” (200€ per paper).
• Author registrations should include the paper ID(s) in the registration form. The paper ID can be added during registration on-line.
• The main conference paper author registration deadline is October 3, 2016.
• The workshop paper author registration deadline is October 10, 2016.
• Any papers that do not come with a registration after the deadlines will be removed from the proceedings and the conference program.

For non-author registrations, written cancellations received on or before October 10, 2016 will be liable to a 50% service charge. After this date there will be no refund.

All payments must be made in Euros (€) by credit card. Otherwise, bank transfer will be accepted in Euros.

Credit Card:

Visa, Mastercard, American Express. The organization strongly recommends using the credit card payment.

(There are some credit cards whose local financial Supplier does not allow on-line transactions through a Sermepa virtual tpv (Servired Spain). If this is your situation please ask your bank for authorization or send a fax to number 0034 913 023 926 with credit card information: Number, holder, expiry date control digits (at the back of the card), so that we can use a tpv machine.

If you Intend to pay by credit card, before registering, please check with your bank first and make sure that your credit card is authorized to make International payments by Internet, because sometimes for security reasons banks deny charges and payments do not go through.

Please do not forget to include the following reference in the bank transfer “ICDM 2016 REG. confirmation number”, as well as the name of the participant.

All bank charges incurred will be borne by the payee.

Participants must send by fax or email, a copy of the receipt of the bank transfer to the technical secretariat within 5 working days. Otherwise registration and all other services required will not be confirmed.

No confirmation will be sent until the technical secretariat has received the full payment.

Any difference arising in the payments will be collected on site by the technical secretariat.

In the case that registration funds are wired late or for unexpected reasons, are not credited to the congress account at the time of registration, the original bank receipt will be required. If no proof of payment can be presented, full payment will be required on site.

Additional requests made after December 1^st, 2016 will be processed on site.
